Enfuse Medical Spas have been reopened in the Lincoln Park and Wicker Park communities by William B. Evans MD. Dr Evans has received training in the use of Smartlipo, CO2 laser, Yag lasers, Vela smooth and multiple injectables at centers in Chicago, Denver, and Toronto. The newest addition of the spas as well as to Chicago is the zerona laser, representing a new concept in weight loss and body contouring , one that uses light (lasers) of a certain wave length to penetrate and collapse fat cells under the skin. “The circumference of my chest went down by 4 inches” and “I have a defined waist again” are typical of the comments heard after treatment with this laser. The advantage of coming to Enfuse is that many if not all commonly used cosmetic procedures are available in one location and do not require multiple trips to different areas of the city. Reduced costs are possible if the services are bundled at the same time.

Dr Evans received a BA with Honors from Swarthmore College where he majored in English literature and biology. After receiving an MD from University of Iowa College of Medicine, he trained in internal medicine at Northwestern in Chicago and kidney medicine at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Twenty years plus of working with patients in these specialties showed the ravages of obesity on health and prompted him to open a weight loss practice to try to break the cycle of obesity leading to health problems.  The medical spas afford an opportunity to make people feel good about themselves from an emotional perspective. He hopes that patients will come to the spas looking for improved physical health as well as improved self image.

Enfuse aims to give one on one service to each client by assessing their needs and constructing a treatment programs that can fulfill these needs in a professionally and financially responsible way. Dr. Evans attends the laser medicine course at Harvard every year to listen to unbiased studies on cosmetic medical procedures.
